Gitlab

Using GitLab is not only essential for our team, but it is also extremely beneficial for our customers.

What is GitLab?

Source code versioning, creating deployment pipelines, continuous integration and reporting management all in a single open source tool that can be installed on your infrastructure without any license fees.

At ELbuild, after years of using Redmine, we felt the need for a tool that would place the source code at the centre and act as an 'operating system' for our company and our developers. After a series of tests, we selected the community edition of GitLab, installing it on an AWS server. GitLab is an open source web platform that enables the management of Git repositories and trouble ticket functions. Internally, we have structured our workflows through GitLab, integrating it into our CRM in order to possess an accurate link between the administrative side and the development phases and actions performed by each team member. Now it is a fundamental tool, which brings obvious advantages in terms of productivity.

What are the benefits of GitLab for our clients?

Handling reports, clarity in communication, transparency in planning.

Using GitLab is not only essential for our team, but it is also extremely beneficial for our clients. All testing, post-release assistance, and operational and evolutionary maintenance phases are managed through GitLab. Once your software is released, you'll receive access to our GitLab instance which you can use to open tickets or request support that will be provided to you according to the agreed-upon SLA. All tracked in a transparent manner by GitLab.
