My Stove is a project developed for Ceza, a Florentine company specialising in the design, production of electronic systems for gas water heaters and pellet stoves, as well as providing support.

The aim of the project is to allow users to control the operation of their pellet stove through a dedicated app.

The app allows users to monitor the operating parameters, view the status of the stove and any alarms that may be present. Furthermore, users can carry out most of the implementation operations, including the definition of the weekly operating plan.

On a technical level, Ceza was involved in designing and manufacturing the hardware and firmware that contain the functions of the control board on a Wi-Fi interface and in defining a custom binary protocol.

At ELbuild, we designed and built the client apps in iOS and Android versions, developing libraries for interaction via TCP sockets and optimised strategies for the initial discovery of the system on the user's home Wi-Fi network without the end-user needing to have networking knowledge.

The app was developed with native technologies on both iOS and Android. At ELbuild, we entirely developed the intuitive and very easy to use user interface.
